MY JOURNEY FROM 0 TO 30K/Month
LEFT FRANCE AND
WORKED AS A WAITRESS IN THE UK
When I was 19, right after finishing high school, I decided to leave France to explore the world — without any diploma. I had no ambition and no clear direction. I remember feeling completely hopeless, with absolutely no idea of what I wanted to do or become in life. I WAS LOST.
BUT I was reading some blogs about being an au pair in London, and that’s how I found a family to work for. I spent a year with them, making about £70 a week, just enough to get by while I focused on learning English. To make some extra money, I decided to find evening shifts as a waitress.
I ended up leaving my au pair job after a year. For the next five years, I worked 12-hour shifts — cleaning tables, taking orders, and earning a salary at the end of each month. I honestly enjoyed this job and learned A LOT. I was really trying to do my best to grow, so I went from being a waitress to becoming a floor manager. The money improved, but it was mentally and physically exhausting.
But deep down, I wanted MORE. I just didn’t know how. I didn't know WHAT. I remember asking myself: 'That's it? This is what life is? Spending my afternoons and evenings serving drinks and managing a team of waiters, every day? And repeat?.'
Until I met my husband and became a mum.
BECAME A MUM
& DECIDED TO FIND A WAY TO EARN MONEY FROM HOME
After my first baby girl, Ivy-Rose, was born, the thought of going back to waitressing and leaving her at home felt impossible. But I knew I had to work — I’ve always been someone who never wanted to depend on anyone else. That’s when I realised I needed to find a new path, one that would allow me to provide for my family without sacrificing time with them. This mindset pushed me to discover and dive deep into 'selling online'.
With no experience, I threw myself into learning everything I could. I started selling physical products on Etsy. Mistake after mistake. Trials after trials. But I didn’t give up. Each sale, no matter how small, felt like a MASSIVE WIN for me. I realised this was my chance to build something bigger if I would stick to it — something that could give me THE FREEDOM I CRAVED.
I BECAME OBSESSED.
As I started to see small sales, I became obsessed with figuring out how to make this work DAILY. I spent countless nights learning about SEO, tweaking things, trying different sales strategies, and testing different ways to market different types of products. Then different types of services. And I started to see huge results. My tiny Etsy store started to take off, and with every sale, my confidence grew.
I then decided to monetise what I knew. And creates A PLAN to teach people how to sell on Etsy. I started to talk about it on my social media. But it was difficult. I had to learn content creation, email marketing, and how to make this entire thing to work on a DAILY BASIS. At that stage, I knew how to sell on Etsy, BUT SELLING BEYOND ETSY was a huge challenge.
UNTIL IT WASN'T ANYMORE.
I've tested lots of content type. I've understood so much in terms of sales, marketing... I've optimised. I've tried. Removed. Added. And kept refining and improving my system to help people in different niches too...
LAUNCHED MY FIRST OFFER

The more I refined my approach, the better the results became. By sticking to a simple 3-step system, I wasn’t just making occasional sales — I was generating CONSISTENT, passive income. That’s when I knew I had something powerful — a system that anyone could follow and replicate to achieve the same results.
By refining my own plan and system and ACTUALLY sticking with it, I hit my first £30K month within 90 days.

MOVED TO DUBAI, INVESTING MY REVENUE IN PROPERTIES, AND HOMESCHOOLING MY GIRLS
This entire system helped me to build the life I wanted for myself, for my 2 daughters and my husband. For us, as a family. We took the decision to move to Dubai for multiple reasons. Today, my family and I live in a very safe and secure environment and we both homeschool our daughters of now 5yo and 3yo. We're also just starting to invest while continuing to grow Upstrider and earning passive income through digital products. My husband works with me in our 'living-room' office and together we’re building a life of freedom.

MY 3-STEP SIMPLE SYSTEM EXPOSED
1️⃣ IDENTIFY AN IN-DEMAND PROBLEM.
This is where everything starts. The first few tasks are all about understanding, identifying and getting EXTREMELY CLEAR about who you’re helping, and what problem you're solving – backed up with strong market research to validate your ideas. This is helpful for ANYONE, whether you’re starting from 0 or want to grow/scale. You will also learn how to understand your audience, what words they're using, their fears, their struggles, their doubts, their wants, and their goals – so they feel understood, valued and heard, and can create the perfect marketing to address all of that and actually HELPING THEM to achieve the transformation you're promoting.
2️⃣ CREATE/LIST YOUR SOLUTIONS.
Now that you know who you're helping, you will be building and listing your offer on a sales page and easily optimising it TO THE PERFECTION using my specific storytelling framework. People rarely buy right away, so you'll create the right lead magnet (a free resource) to collect email addresses from your visitors and potential buyers. This helps you stay connected and sell through high-converting email sequences that you'll prepare in advance using my storytelling email method. These emails will automatically be sent as soon as someone joins your list.
3️⃣ BUILD YOUR PASSIVE SALES SYSTEM.
Now that we have our offer listed on a sales page, automation and email list ready to be delivered, we need EYES. We need the right audience to see our offer and let them discover within themselves that the offer is the solution to the problem we're solving for them. So we need a daily constant traffic source, and the right marketing to convert them into sales. We will use different platforms to start, grow and scale to £30,000 a month and beyond:

"It's Too Saturated" or "It Won't Work" They Say
My dad, who wants the BEST for me, was actually the first to say that it *may not work* and that spending hours creating products and thinking you could sell them could potentially be a waste of time.
And of course, I listened. I did doubt myself.
But I didn't let this stop me from trying. Because I'm stubborn.
STOP.
Always remember to listen to people's bits of advice ONLY if they went through it themselves, have enough data to make a judgement, know more than you do and have the life that you want.
Now - I want to share my results with you because talking about money is HEALTHY.
The "money topic" was taboo, at home, when I was younger. It was "ok" to earn money, but you couldn't talk about it.
I started this journey with ZERO knowledge about:

- how to keep my own money
- and how to actually invest and make it work for you (and not the other way around)
I'm forever grateful for people who have shared their online revenue with others online. While you may think that they're bragging, they're actually doing you a favour.
They showed me what was possible. And rather than hating on them, it actually made me feel so MOTIVATED, crazy.

I'm Anne, the founder of Upstrider® helping small business owners to launch from scratch, grow and scale their online store & reaching 30+ sales daily and consistently, on Etsy and their own site.
I started from ZERO, no knowledge, in 2020 during lockdown and launched my first e-commerce store.
It was a challenging time, and I struggled to learn from too many sources, making the process very confusing. I grew my Etsy store to 105,000+ sales and website to 7-figure in less than three years, selling both physical and digital products.
Sharing what I learnt and went through came naturally over time. I've made a promise to myself to be the big sister I've never had on this journey, and dedicate my time and energy to help others grow too.
We are now a big crew of 10,000+ driven and ambitious small business owners, growing and scaling our online stores all together!
